Samsung TV Optical Out No Sound

There is still an issue after changing the audio output there could be a problem using the default audio formats. Fix this issue you just need to follow steps below:

  • After having changed the Audio output, return to the audio section.
  • You should then move to the Expert settings tab.
  • Change both HDMI Input and Digital Output Audio Formats to PCM.

Testing The Audio

After changing all the settings,if still you are not hearing a sound from external speakers it’s a physical problem because we have done all the methods to fix this issue. After applying all these methods we are not getting any solution so that means that it’s a physical problem with speakers or either with optical cable. In this case we have to change the hardware of the speaker or you can go for repair service because in this situation it’s very hard to fix this issue by yourself.
